McDonough’s Biggest Day of the Year
The Geranium Festival started in 1977 as an arts and crafts festival, and the McDonough Lions Club has put it on since 1980. Today it fills the Square with more than 400 vendor spaces.

This one is personal for me. Before I got into real estate, I made bath bombs with my girls and everybody kept telling us to enter the festival. We did, and we made $1,000 that day from little things we made at home. We thought we were the bomb.
There are no tickets to buy, and local listings show it as free to attend. Free parking is available at the Performing Arts Center and the McDonough Parking Deck, with trolleys running during the event.
Want a booth? Applications are on the festival website.
McDonough is known as the Geranium City, and the Geranium Festival is the best way to see why. Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 15, 2027 from 9am to 5pm. Come early if you want the first look at the vendors on the Square.
