Congrats, you’re under contract! 🥳 This is where the real fun begins. Once your offer is accepted, the next phase is due diligence. This is when you’ll have the home inspection done to check for any major repairs or hidden issues.
During due diligence, a licensed home inspector will assess key parts of the home like the roof, HVAC system, plumbing, and more. Afterward, you’ll get a detailed report, and together, we’ll review any repairs that need to be addressed before moving forward.
Negotiations on repairs may happen during this stage, and once everything is settled, we move into the appraisal contingency phase.
